Thanks to Phil Smith and Mardi Lumsden for their wonderful piece on ABC Radio (that's 612AM up in Queensland) about The Hopesmiths Project recently. Phil's show devotes time every week for "Saturday Tracks", its a great listen if you're able to rise and shine early enough to give it a listen.

Well everyone involved in The Hopesmiths Project has had a busy few months, and with national release of the album happening this month, there is also plenty going on for all our Hopesmiths artists - Here's an update on what a few of them are up to:

You might have caught Bobby Flynn performing on the Today show this morning - his first single "The Boy Had Trouble" is released next week and he's embarking on a massive national tour.
Tom Cooney has been busy promoting his mini-album and has been on tour with Toni Collette, Mellow Gold and Homebake to name but a few!
Chris Brady has just released his debut album and toured nationally to widespread acclaim!
Jackie Marshall was recently a finalist in the Australian Music Prize and she's got plenty of gigs coming up, she's a must-see live!
Chris Pickering's latest EP 'Ghost City' has been getting cracker reviews, and he's heading on tour again soon too!

And plenty plenty more, so many great local musicians out there, go catch a live act tomorrow, you never know what you'll discover!
